Not Another Scifi Movie

And the audience groans, because after all, its just another scifi movie isn't it? Not necessarily. What began as a project for a college film class quickly turned into an original movie with surprising flair and humor that bites back. Just when you thought you'd seen all the great scifi movies and alien take-over scenarios that could possibly be exploited, here's a film that, frankly, out-exploits them all. Directed by Christian Roule, 'Not Another Scifi Movie' takes a look at all of our old favorites and gives them a comedic twist, proving itself with an astonishing variety of special effects and battle choreography for an amateur film.

When evil aliens seek to the rule the universe, they first much capture an ancient artifact made by a Master Race. This artifact, the 'Light of Zwot', fell to earth on a meteor and landed in the Irish Bayou of Southeastern Louisiana. Not content with anything but a hair-brained scheme, the alien High Commander sends Xatto, his most cruel assassin, to the Earth to retrieve the Light of Zwot. But when Xatto encounters hardcore rebel Natalie and her silly sister Jessie, it's up to Secret Agents Willum and Gex (who are totally not gay) to save the day. Hilarity and incredulous hijinx follows in what truly can only be 'Not Another Scifi Movie'!

'Not Another Scifi Movie' is reminiscent of cheesy scifi B-movies and a few groaners such as Space Balls, Scary Movie, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Monty Python. It contains elements of Star Wars, Sixth Sense, Star Trek, Charlie's Angels, Men in Black I and II, Alfred Hitchcock and more. But instead of reading about the movie, watch it for yourself. You won't regret it.
